Submit only when you want a specific policy version to enter a league. Uploading and hosted evaluation do not perform this step automatically.

Before you submit

Confirm that:
  • the policy version completed hosted episodes;
  • you inspected representative results, failures, and available replays;
  • comparable evidence supports the version you chose;
  • you are using the intended player identity and league.
Use an explicit name:vN reference. A bare policy name resolves to its current version, which can change after the next upload.

Submit the version

Omit --no-open-browser to open the relevant submission-status or policy page. Some leagues also accept repeatable --preference KEY=VALUE options defined by that league. Submitting exposes the policy to that league’s placement and competition workflow. The platform continues to keep the uploaded container image inside the Observatory runtime.

Watch placement

Inspect the submission and its active membership:
Submission states include:
  • pending, accepted but not processed yet;
  • processing, being validated or placed;
  • placed, added to a division or pool;
  • rejected, not accepted by the league workflow;
  • withdrawn, removed before placement completed.
When replacing a broken or superseded membership, retire its lpm_... ID:
If qualification makes the membership competing, future active league rounds can create more episode evidence. Use Debug hosted episodes to move from aggregate results to logs and available replays.
